RAMALLAH, May 14, 2016 (WAFA)- Weather on Saturday is abundantly sunny, dry and hot and temperatures are anticipated to significantly rise, approaching nine degrees Celsius above the seasonal average, according to the Palestine Meteorological Department.

Winds are northwesterly to northeasterly and slight to moderate. Sea waves are low.

Very hot and dry skies are expected to prevail on Sunday. Temperatures are anticipated to rise further, approaching around 12 degrees Celsius above seasonal average.

Temperatures are predicted to rise further on Monday, approaching 13 degrees Celsius above the seasonal average with very hot and dry weather conditions.

However, temperatures are predicted to significantly drop on Tuesday, approaching around four degrees Celsius above seasonal average, with partially cloudy skies.

People are warned against direct sun exposure for long times, especially during peak hours between 11 AM to 4 PM from Saturday to Tuesday. They are also warned against setting fires to dry leaves and grass.
