NABLUS, March 17, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Thursday overnight detained six Palestinians from the West Bank, said security sources.
Israeli soldiers raided Asira Ash-Shamaliya town, north of Nablus city, where they detained three Palestinians after storming and ransacking their houses. The detainees were identified as Abdul-Majid Sawalma, Asem Daghlas and Ubai Hamadna.
Army forces also detained Yazid Qadus, 15, after breaking into and ransacking his family’s house in Iraq Burain, southwest of Nablus city.
Meanwhile in Jerusalem, police stormed several houses in al-Issawiya town and detained Salameh Ubeid.
To the south of Jerusalem, in Hebron city, forces detained Khalil al-Qimari, 26, after breaking into and ransacking his house.
During the raid, forces closed a vegetable shop that used to belong to Qasem Jaber, who was shot dead recently near Kiryat Araba settlement.
Jaber, 18, was shot dead along Ameer al-Junaidi after they purportedly opened fire at soldiers waiting at a bus station near Kiryat Araba settlement.
Forces also stormed and thoroughly searched several houses in Dura and Yatta towns, south of Hebron. Some of the houses belong to Khalil Abu Ubeid and his brothers.
