JERUSALEM, December 3, 2015 (WAFA) – A Palestinian
man was Thursday shot dead following an alleged drive-by shooting at the Hizma
military checkpoint, north of Jerusalem.
Israeli media sources reported on Israeli army
spokespersons that the Palestinian man allegedly exited
his car while approaching the checkpoint and opened fire at the soldiers.
Israeli soldiers returned fire,
striking and killing the man, according to the army.
Two Israelis, including a soldier,
were reportedly injured in the alleged shooting. A 47-year-old Israeli was
seriously wounded in the upper body and an Israeli soldier was lightly
wounded.
