HEBRON,
November 30, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces overnight detained 15 Palestinians
and summoned two others from West Bank districts, said the Palestinian Prisoner’s
Club (PPC), said security sources and a local activist.
Israeli
forces detained ten Palestinians from Hebron, three others from Jenin, another
from Nablus, in addition to one more from Tulkarem district. Forces also
summoned two Palestinian locals from Bethlehem district.
In
the southern West Bank district of Hebron, Israeli forces detained a
Palestinian as they raided his family’s house in Taffuh town, west of the city.
The
detainee was identified as Nouriddin al-Tarda, 18.
During
the raid, forces broke into and ransacked another house belonging to ‘Aref
Tayim, in addition to the family home of 18-year-old Taha al-Tarda, a
Palestinian detainee incarcerated in Israeli jails.
Furthermore,
forces detained Yazan al-Dhiba, 22, and Mahmoud Hudaib, 20, after breaking into
and ransacking their families’ houses in Hebron’s al-Fawwar refugee camp
Another
Palestinian was detained as forces raided Bani Na‘im town, east of the city. He
was identified as Suleiman al-‘Adra.
Forces
also raided Sa‘ir town, northeast of Hebron, where they proceeded to detain a
Palestinian and seized two vehicles after breaking into and searching his
house.
The
detainee was identified as Bilal Jabbarin.
Furthermore,
forces stormed several houses and detained three Palestinians from Beit Ummar
town, north of the city. The detainees were identified as Muhammad Abu Maria,
42, Ikhdeir ‘Awad, 19, and ex-detainee Ahmad al-Salibi, 19.
WAFA
reported on local anti-wall and settlement activist Mohammad ‘Awad as saying
that forces further broke into and ransacked houses belonging to locals Omar
Breighith, Hesham Abu Maria and ‘Abdul-Hamid ‘Awad, however, no arrests were
made.
Forces
also detained two more Palestinians from Hebron district. PPC identified them
as Muhammad Bahr, 20, and Shehab ‘Adi, 20.
Meanwhile
in the northern West Bank district of Jenin, forces detained three
Palestinians, including a disabled former detainee, from Ya‘bad and al-Yamoun
towns.
Forces
raided Ya‘bad, where they proceeded to detain disabled ‘Adnan Hamarsha, 48, and
his brother, ‘Ala’, 40, after breaking into and searching their house.
‘Adnan
is a handicapped former detainee who have had a heart attack during his
previous detention, where he spent 10 years in Israeli detention centers.
Forces
also detained Owais Nawahda, 22, who is a student in the Tulkarem-based
Palestine Technical School, after storming and searching his family’s house.
During
the raid, forces stormed and tampered with the contents of several other
houses. Some of the homeowners were identified as Mufid Abu Salah, Khalil
Nawahda, his brother, Mazen, and Suleiman ‘Abahra.
In
the meantime in the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, forces detained a
Palestinian from inside his home as they raided Zeita town, north of the city.
Large
troops leading sniffer dogs stormed and ransacked a house belonging to Rabah
al-Labadi, 28, a former detainee who spent 10 years in Israeli prisons and was
released as part of Gilad Shalit prisoners swap deal in 2011, before detaining
him.
In
the northern West Bank district of Nablus, forces detained a Palestinian after
storming and tampering with the contents of his house in al-Makhfiyya
neighborhood.
The
detainee was identified as Baha’ ‘Abdul-Haq.
During
the predawn raids, forces stormed two other houses belonging to the families of
Ashraqat Qatanani and ‘Ala’ Hashash; who were shot dead by Israeli forces.
In
Bethlehem district, forces summoned two Palestinians from ‘Aida refugee camp,
north of the city.
Muhammad
al-‘Aq, 41, Khader Da‘amsa, 30, were handed notices ordering them to turn
themselves to Israeli intelligence in Gush Etzion detention and interrogation
center.
