JERUSALEM, November 25, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli army forces overnight
detained 35 Palestinians, including minors, from across the West Bank districts
and Jerusalem, according to local and official sources.
Israeli police detained seven Palestinians, including five
minors, during raid and search campaigns conducted across the Jerusalem area.
Akram Mustafa, 15, Shadi Klaib, 15, Adham Sabta, 16, and
Kareem Jaber were all detained from the East Jerusalem’s neighborhood of
al-Issawiyeh.
In Jerusalem’s al-Thawri neighborhood of Silwan, police
detained two minors identified as Ibrahim al-Taweel, 16, and Ahmad Ghrab, 17.
Police also detained Ahmad Ibrahim after raiding and searching his home in the
town of Anata to the northeast of Jerusalem.
Meanwhile in Hebron, Israeli army forces detained 10
Palestinians, including five minors.
Security and local sources informed WAFA Israeli army forces
raided Beit Awa, southwest of Hebron, and detained Mohamed Masalma, Hamdi Masalma,
18, and Qosay Masalma after raiding and searching their houses. Qosay Shalash,
20, was detained from Hebron’s town of Dura.
Israeli forces also detained Nafez Muhtaseb, 28, Hamza
Zama’ra, 17, Hamza Shalalda, 18, and
Tamer Awedat, from Hebron’s city and the
towns of Halhoul, Sa’ir, and al-Sheikh neighborhood, respectively.
Spokesman of the Anti-settlement and Wall Popular Committee,
Mohammad Awad, said that Israeli soldiers detained Jamal Adi, 17, Mohammad Abu
Dia, 16, and Mohammad Awad, 14, from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
Israeli army further erected a checkpoint in al-Fawwar
refugee camp and at some entrances of Hebron city, searching and inspecting the
Identity Cards of passing Palestinian registered cars.
The Palestinian Prisoner’s Club (PPC) said Israeli army
forces detained ten Palestinians, including minors, from al-Bireh and the
Ramallah area. The detainees were identified as
Ghassan Shabayeh, 15, Basel Shabayeh, 17, Rafat Ali, 21, and Mohammad
Dawood, 18, from al-Janyeh village to the west of Ramallah, in addition to
Sanad Barghouthi, 16, Abdel-Rahman Baroughthi, 19, both from Deir Abu Mesha’l,
Mohammed Abu Edeh, 26, from Qadora Refugee camp, and Ihab Afaneh, 25, from Qalandia Refugee Camp.
Meanwhile in Kufr Niemeh, northwest of Ramallah, Israeli
forces detained Saji Atyeh, 24, and Hasan Ataya, 18.
In the Bethlehem area, forces detained Mohammad Dar Salah
from the town of Obadiah, Mohammad Marzouq, 23, from al-Khader town, and and
Mazen Kalbyeh, 40, from al-Karkafa area, after raiding and searching their
houses, said Coordinator of the Popular Committee against Settlements and the
Apartheid Wall, Ahmad Salah.
In the Jenin area, forces detained Oday Hamada, 23, and a
University student identified as Wisam Hanoun, 21, after raiding his family’s
house in Jenin refugee camp. Forces further raided the homes of locals Hani
Hijazi, and ex-detainee Ashraf al-Natour, however, no further arrests were
made.
Amin al-Haj, 20, was detained from Tulkarem’s town of Bala,
whereas Fares Hanani was detained by Israeli forces from the town of Beit Furik
to the southeast of Nablus.
