JERUSALEM, November 16, 2015 (WAFA) – At least
25 Palestinians, including a young woman, were detained by Israeli forces in
the West Bank and Jerusalem on Monday, according to local and security sources.
In Jerusalem, police detained six Palestinians
Sunday night. They were identified as Walid Tuffaha, Mohammad Da’na, Udai
Da’ajneh, 16, Ahmad Adwin, 16, Taher Sarhan, 19, and Anas Abu-Mayyalah, 21.
Meanwhile, Israeli army forces broke into
Nablus city and nearby Askar refugee camp, where they detained Saber Lahham,
32, and Mohammad Saqer, 30.
The Israeli army also stormed Jenin, in
the northern West Bank, and detained Alaa Washahi, 27, after raiding his house
and physically assaulting him. Israeli forces smashed the gates of Washahi’s
house and sabotaged its furniture, as well as attacked his brother’s house and
wreaked havoc in it, causing fear among children.
The army also detained Anas Atoum, 26, and
Ibrahim Kmail, 25, after raiding their houses in Jenin.
In Bethlehem, army stormed Duhesheh refugee
camp near the city and detained a young woman, identified as Dunia Musleh, 19.
Army also broke into the village of Burqa, west
of Ramallah, where they detained a Palestinian called Muthanna Muatan.
Meanwhile in Hebron district, Israeli forces
detained 10 Palestinians. Six of them were identified as Hamza Abdul-Majid,
Husam Hashlamon, Aamer Ewewi, Husam Natsheh, Mohammad Hrimat, and Farid Sbeih.
The Israeli army stormed the village of Beit
Ula, west of Hebron, where they raided the headquarters of the Islamic
Association Charity (IAC).
WAFA correspondent said Israeli soldiers
vandalized some of the charity’s content and doors, as well as ransacked
electric appliances, printers, files and other items belonging to Palestinian
orphans who benefit from the charity.
The charity provides educational services to
more than 4,000 Palestinian male and female orphans.
According to IAC’s director, Sheikh Hatem
Bakri, the Israeli military repeatedly vandalized IAC’s branches across Hebron
district multiple times during the past few years.
