RAMALLAH, April 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists, protected by the Israeli army, attacked the town of Turmus Ayya northeast of Ramallah on Saturday evening, according to local sources.
The sources reported that armed colonists targeted the outskirts of the town, prompting residents to confront them. The assailants fired live bullets at civilians and homes, though no injuries were reported.
Israeli forces simultaneously raided the town during the attack, pursuing local youths on its outskirts, but no detentions were made.
Towns and villages across the occupied West Bank have been facing frequent daily attacks by Israeli colonists and forces, including assaults on residents, destruction of property, and the burning of agricultural crops.
Colonists often target farmland, vehicles, and homes, with military forces frequently providing protection or facilitating access, contributing to a climate of fear and instability in Palestinian communities.
