AMMAN,
November 5, 2014 (WAFA) – The Jordanian government recalled its ambassador in
Tel Aviv in protest of Israel’s recent unprecedented wave of escalation on
al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, Wednesday reported the official Jordanian news
agency, Petra.
Petra said
Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour instructed his foreign minister to
immediately file a complaint at the UN Security Council against the recent
Israeli violations against al-Aqsa.
On Wednesday
morning, at least 15 Palestinians were injured with live fire and rubber-coated
bullets, including some seriously, after a large number of Israeli police
attacked Palestinians near and inside al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem.
The
escalation came after a group of Jewish fanatics, backed by heavy police
protection, broke through the Mosque in a provocative visit that prompted
clashes with Palestinian worshipers, the last of a series of recent provocative
daily visits by Jewish extremists to the Islamic holy site.
