Several Injuries, Suffocation Cases in Confrontations North of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM July 9, 2014 (WAFA) - Two young men were shot and injured with live ammunition in confrontations with Israeli forces on Tuesday night, that erupted in the surrounding area of Bilal bin Rabah mosque, north of Bethlehem, in addition to several other injuries and suffocation cases.

The director of emergency services for the Red Crescent, Mohamed Awad, said that the two young men, aged 18 and 27 were wounded by bullets near the thigh area by the Israeli forces in clashes north of Bethlehem, and have been transferred to Beit Jala Hospital for treatment. Medics described their condition as critical.

Several other injuries from rubber-coated bullets and cases of suffocation during the clashes were reported among residents.
