JERICHO,
March 10, 2014 (WAFA) – Israeli police Monday opened fire on a Palestinian
youth, killing him instantly, while he was traveling via Allenby (al-Karama)
border crossing that connects the West Bank and Jordan, said the director
general of the border crossings, Nazmi Muhanna.
He
told WAFA that an Israeli security guard opened fire at Raed Zueter, 38, while
on his way home in Nablus returning from Jordan.
Police
claimed Zueter tried to take the guard's gun who immediately shot and killed
him.
Israeli
border control closed al-Karama border crossing and declared it a military
zone.
Investigations
are still underway.
