RAMALLAH, August 7, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Presidency condemned on Friday the Houthi missile and drone attacks that targeted the Najran region in Saudi Arabia as well as the governorates of Marib and Hadramout in Yemen.

The Presidency described these attacks as a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region and undermines efforts aimed at achieving peace.

It reaffirmed its categorical rejection of all forms of violence and attacks targeting the sovereignty and security of sisterly countries, stressing the need to respect international law and to halt terrorist attacks that would expand the scope of the conflict and destabilize regional security.

It expressed the State of Palestine's solidarity with Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Yemen, renewing its call for dialogue to prevail and for the preservation of regional security and stability in a manner that serves the interests of its peoples and enhances the prospects for peace and development.
