Three young Palestinians injured in colonist attack northeast of Ramallah

RAMALLAH, August 1, 2026 (WAFA) – Three Palestinian youths were injured on Saturday evening after Israeli colonists assaulted them on the road between the villages of al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah, according to a local official.

Head of the Al-Mughayyir Village Council Amin Abu Aliya told WAFA that the colonists assaulted the three young men, physically beating them and spraying them with pepper spray, causing facial and eye injuries in addition to multiple bruises.

He added that, before assaulting the three young men, the colonists deliberately rammed the victims' vehicle with an all-terrain vehicle (ATV), damaging the car.

Abu Aliya said Israeli colonists carry out near-daily attacks against Palestinians traveling along the road linking al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah, physically assaulting them and spraying them with pepper spray.

Meanwhile, local sources said Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Abu Falah following the colonist attack, but no detentions or home raids were reported.

The occupation forces also raided the towns of Al-Mazra'a Ash Sharqiya and Silwad, as well as the village of Deir Jarir, east of Ramallah, without carrying out any detentions or home raids.
