Palestinian minor wounded by Israeli forces’ live fire during military raid on Qalandiya Refugee Camp

JERUSALEM, July 27, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian minor was wounded by live ammunition fired by Israeli occupation forces on Sunday night during a military raid on the Qalandiya refugee camp, north of occupied Jerusalem, according to local sources.

The sources reported that Israeli occupation forces stormed the camp and opened live fire, injuring the minor. The extent and severity of his injuries were not immediately known.

They added that Israeli soldiers were deployed throughout several neighborhoods of the camp, where they stopped multiple Palestinian vehicles and fired a heavy barrage of stun grenades and tear gas along Al-Ma'had Street near the refugee camp, sparking a fire that engulfed fully grown trees at the Qalandiya Technical Training Institute.

Israeli occupation forces also raided the home of former prisoner Ahmad Khader, who  was released earlier today after serving 25 years in Israeli prisons.

Meanwhile, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that Israeli occupation forces prevented its medical teams from reaching the injured minor inside Qalandiya refugee camp.
