RAMALLAH, November 7, 2026 (WAFA) – The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission said Israeli occupation authorities issued four military orders on October 28, 2026, targeting Palestinian lands in the Bethlehem governorate, including orders to seize 4.708 dunums of land in al-Khader and Arab al-Ta'amra and remove trees and vegetation from 10.085 dunums in Nahalin.
The commission said the orders combine the imposition of direct military control over specific routes and sites with the forced removal of trees around Israeli settlements, reflecting the use of military and security powers to reshape the use of Palestinian land.
According to the commission, military seizure order No. 147/26 targets 4.408 dunums of land in al-Khader. The order covers a route extending 878 meters around the Efrat settlement and is linked to a project to construct a tower in the area.
The accompanying map shows the route crossing agricultural terraces, placing a strip of farmland under military control. The commission said the route's extension into agricultural areas has implications beyond the specific area seized, given its relationship with surrounding lands.
A second military seizure order, No. 164/26, targets 0.3 dunums, equivalent to 300 square meters, in Arab al-Ta'amra, within basin No. 2, near the Tekoa settlement.
The order concerns modifications to the boundaries of security installations. Its accompanying map identifies several small, scattered sites intended to serve the security infrastructure surrounding the settlement.
Both land seizure orders remain in effect until December 31, 2028, granting Israeli occupation authorities exclusive possession of the designated areas throughout that period.
In Nahalin, security measures order No. 101/26 targets 0.968 dunums in basin No. 4, near the Neve Daniel settlement. It stipulates the removal of pine trees and wild vegetation.
