Israeli forces close roads in Nablus village amid tightened restrictions

NABLUS, July 26, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces closed several secondary roads in the village of Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus, on Sunday.

Local sources said an Israeli military force, accompanied by a military bulldozer, raided the entrance to the village and closed several side roads in the village plain, while the main entrance has remained closed for several days.

The measures come after Israeli forces, with the participation of colonists, carried out a deadly attack in the village of Tell near Nablus on Friday that resulted in the killing of four Palestinians from the same family.

Since then, Israeli forces have intensified military restrictions on main and secondary roads connecting Palestinian governorates, while colonists have continued attacks on Palestinian homes and property, blocked roads and disrupted residents’ movement.
