NABLUS, July 26, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces detained 24 Palestinians during raids across the Nablus governorate early Sunday and took measurements of a home in the town of Tell ahead of its demolition.
Palestinian security and local sources said Israeli military vehicles stormed several neighborhoods in Nablus city, the old and new Askar refugee camps, and the eastern area of the city, as well as the towns of Tell, Huwara, Awarta, Kafr Qallil, Asira al-Shamaliya, and Salem.
The sources said Israeli forces raided and searched a large number of homes, damaging and tampering with their contents during the operations.
Twelve Palestinians were detained from the town of Tell, while another 12 were detained from various areas across the Nablus governorate.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces took measurements of the home of slain Palestinian man Farouq Ramadan, who was killed by Israeli soldiers and colonists last Friday in his hometown of Tell, in preparation for its demolition. The forces sealed the house and prevented the family from entering.
