RAMALLAH, June 22, 2026 (WAFA) – President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas extended condolences to the Emir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, over the victims of the tragic incident that occurred at a factory in the Ras Laffan Industrial Area.
The explosion resulted in the killing of 13 people and the injury of dozens of others.
President Abbas affirmed the full solidarity of the State of Palestine with the brotherly State of Qatar in this tragedy, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured and continued progress and prosperity for the State of Qatar and its people.
