President Abbas receives Palestinian Public Prosecution’s 2025 annual report

RAMALLAH, June 22, 2026 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas received the Palestinian Public Prosecution's 2025 Annual Report on Monday during a meeting with Attorney General Akram Al-Khatib at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah.

The Attorney General reviewed the report's key achievements and activities during the past year, including measures taken to strengthen the rule of law and protect public rights and freedoms.

He also highlighted efforts to improve judicial performance, enhance the work of the Public Prosecution, and raise the efficiency of services provided to citizens. President Abbas commended the Public Prosecution's annual report despite the difficult circumstances facing Palestine due to the occupation and its practices.

He affirmed his full support for the Public Prosecution's efforts to perform its duties professionally and independently, contributing to the protection of rights and the consolidation of the principles of integrity, transparency, and the rule of law in the State of Palestine.

For his part, the Attorney General affirmed the Public Prosecution's commitment to continuing to fulfill its national and legal duty in accordance with the law, promoting justice, preserving citizens' rights, and safeguarding the public interest.
