HEBRON, May 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained six Palestinians and assaulted women and children in the Hebron district on Thursday.
Security sources reported that Israeli forces raided the towns of Yatta and As-Samu, south of Hebron, and detained Mahmoud Jabreen Nawaj’ah, Jabr Ahmad Nawaj’ah, Salem Ahmad Hawamdeh, and Dheeb Ahmad Hawamdeh.
From Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron, they detained Thaer Hisham Tafesh and Ahmad Basem Al-Qeeq after raiding and searching their homes and ransacking their contents.
Last night, Israeli forces also raided several homes in the Al-Salaymeh neighborhood of Hebron, terrorizing residents and assaulting women and children before searching the homes and deliberately destroying their contents. Among the homes raided was that of Talib Jaber.
