RAMALLAH, May 21, 2026 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas awarded the Shield of the State of Palestine to the Fatah Protectors Foundation during a meeting held on Thursday at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah.

The award was presented in recognition of the foundation’s national role in preserving Palestinian identity and its contribution to strengthening the Palestinian narrative among younger generations through ongoing awareness and educational campaigns.

The meeting took place in the presence of a delegation representing the organization, where discussions also focused on efforts aimed at promoting national consciousness and safeguarding Palestinian historical and cultural identity.
