RAMALLAH, March 19, 2026 (WAFA) – Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday evening called Fawzi Abu Hleil al-Masalmeh, head of the al-Masalmeh family, and Khaled Doudin, the governor of Hebron, to offer condolences over the four women who were killed on Wednesday after shrapnel from a missile struck the town of Beit Awa.
During the call, President Abbas expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased, praying for mercy upon them and wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.
