Ramallah, March 19, 2026 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas received a phone call today from the High Priest of the Samaritan community, Abdullah Wasef, who congratulated him on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
Wasef expressed his wishes for the President's continued health and well-being, and his hope that peace would prevail and that God would bring this occasion back to the Palestinian people with their aspirations for freedom and independence fulfilled.
The President thanked him for the call and wished him good health and well-being.
