RAMALLAH, November 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa held a coordination meeting on Wednesday at his office in Ramallah to review ongoing Government efforts in early relief and the restoration of basic services in the Gaza Strip.
The meeting brought together ambassadors and representatives of the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Norway, Canada, the European Union, and the Office of the Quartet.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Mustafa reaffirmed that the political and legal reference guiding the next phase ahead must be grounded in full Palestinian sovereignty, the unity of law and authority, and the linkage of any international mechanisms or committees to the State of Palestine and its Government.
Mustafa further emphasized that security arrangements in Gaza must be exclusively Palestinian, based on needs and development plans, and supported by the International Stabilization Force and partners—while rejecting any parallel or separate arrangements between the West Bank and Gaza.
The Prime Minister also addressed the outcomes of Palestine Donor Group (PDG) meeting in Brussels, noting that the meeting was positive and that international partners demonstrated a clear understanding of the financial gap and the urgent need to address it.
He pointed out that the Government continues to advance its national agenda for institutional reform and development, including the implementation of all commitments set for 2025, launching new development projects, and strengthening institutional readiness.
Mustafa highlighted that Government operations in Gaza are progressing at an increasing pace through the Government Operations Room, line ministries, and the Reconstruction Team at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, including the submission of regular early recovery plans. He underscored the importance of reinforcing Palestinian presence on the ground and maintaining coordinated, organized efforts to serve citizens.
For their part, the participating ambassadors and representatives commended the progress achieved in the current efforts in the Gaza Strip, the Government’s preparedness for early recovery and reconstruction, the implementation and progress of the reform program, and the high level of coordination and transparency in government action.
They affirmed their strong support for the leading role of the Palestinian Government in Gaza and emphasized the importance of aligning all efforts and mechanisms in the Strip with the Government’s plan and implementation program as an essential pathway for managing the upcoming phase and ensuring the restoration of basic services.
