GAZA, June 10, 2025 (WAFA) – Eight Palestinian citizens, including a child, were killed on Tuesday by Israeli occupation forces near an aid center in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that 12-year-old Mohammed Khalil al-Athamneh was killed by Israeli occupation forces near an aid distribution center in the central Gaza Strip. Seven other citizens were also killed and others wounded by Israeli forces near the center of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
A citizen was also injured by Israeli artillery shelling targeting a gathering of civilians near the Netzarim checkpoint in the central Gaza Strip.
Over the past few days, the occupation forces have targeted aid distribution points, both in Rafah and in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing o dozens. This move, according to UN confirmations, aims to forcibly displace residents.
The total number of slain Palestinian who were killed since the implementation of the aid distribution points mechanism on May 27, 2025, has reached more than 130, with hundreds more injured.
Thus, yesterday, the aid distribution centers of the Israeli-American "Gaza Humanitarian Relief Foundation," a UN-rejected organization, were transformed into mass killing traps. This is in addition to the deliberate violation of citizens' dignity, forcing them to flee amid catastrophic humanitarian conditions.
Since this morning, more than 40 citizens have been killed by Israeli army fire and shelling, 20 of whom were waiting for aid near the so-called "Netzarim axis" in the central Gaza Strip.
The occupation has continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the killing of 54,880 citizens, most of them children and women, and the injury of 126,227 others.
