SALFIT, February 23, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces have informed a Palestinian resident of Kafr al-Dik, a town located in the central West Bank province of Salfit, of their intention to demolish his home in the near future.
Local sources reported to WAFA that Israeli forces raided the town earlier today and stormed the home of Mahmoud Nabil, notifying him of a final evacuation order in preparation for the demolition of his property, which could take place at any time.
This marks the second time within the past 10 days that Nabil's home has been issued a demolition notice by Israeli authorities.
On Tuesday of last week, Israeli forces also carried out a home demolition in the town, targeting the residence of another local resident.
Israeli forces regularly carry out home demolitions in Palestinian communities, a practice widely condemned by international human rights organizations. These demolitions are often part of a broader strategy to expand illegal Israeli settlements and clear land for further occupation, while severely limiting the ability of Palestinians to maintain a presence on their lands.
