NABLUS, February 19, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian minor Wednesday evening sustained an injury from Israeli army gunfire in Beita town, south of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
The PRCS said that its crews provided first aid treatment to a 15-year-old minor who sustained an injury in the thigh with live ammunition fired by Israeli occupation forces in the town.
Local sources elaborated that the occupation forces stormed the town, triggering confrontations.
They added that the gun-toting soldiers fired barrages of gunfire and tear gas canisters, resulting in several suffocation cases.
The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
These raids are conducted without a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
