Israeli forces detain 30 Palestinians in the West Bank

RAMALLAH, February 19, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of detentions, from yesterday evening until Wednesday morning, which affected at least 30 Palestinians from the West Bank, including children and former prisoners.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Society (PPS) and the Commission of Detainees and Ex- Detainees Affairs said that the occupation continues to its onslaught  in the Jenin and Tulkarm governorates for weeks, which is accompanied by ongoing detentions  and field investigations.

Meanwhile, the number of detentions in Jenin and its camp since the beginning of the aggression have reached 175, while in Tulkarm and its camps have reached at least 150, including those who were detained and later released.

It is noteworthy that the occupation has escalated their policies in, especially in Jenin and its camp, as well as Tulkarm and its camps, the most prominent of these policies are field executions, assassinations, and systematic field investigations that have affected dozens of families.

 Additionally, the occupation soldiers during the ongoing aggression involved detaining local residents as hostages and turning homes into military points, after forcing their owners to forcibly leave and move to other areas.
