Israeli authorities demolish several Palestinian structures south of Hebron

HEBRON, February 10, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities demolished on Monday five Palestinian houses and a cave in Khallet al-Dabaa, which is affiliated with the village council in At-Tuwana in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

The head of the village council in At-Tuwana, Muhammad Rabie, told WAFA that the occupation forces stormed Khallet al-Dabaa in Masafer Yatta with their heavy machinery and demolished five houses and a cave owned by the Dababsa family, which housed approximately 40 people, most of whom were children and women.

The occupation forces also destroyed the main and secondary electricity and water networks in Khallet al-Dabaa with their machinery, and bulldozed the trees and crops surrounding the houses.

The owners of homes and lands appealed to all national, human rights and international institutions to intervene immediately and urgently to put an end to these barbaric practices .

They also called for putting an end to colonists attacks against Palestinians and their property south of Hebron, with the aim of forcing them to leave their homes and lands for the benefit of the colonists.
