RAMALLAH, February 10, 2024 (WAFA) – The Muslim World League condemned Benjamin Netanyahu's statements calling for the displacement of the people of the Gaza Strip.
The Secretary-General and Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, denounced in a statement by the General Secretariat of the League those statements, which he described as showing disregard for all international norms and laws, violating the sovereignty of states, and disregarding the rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state on their lands.
He praised the statement of the Saudi Foreign Ministry, which affirmed its adherence to its firm and steadfast position on the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, and its demand to end the Israeli occupation, and its urging of peace-loving countries to recognize the State of Palestine until it gains full membership in the United Nations.
Al-Issa appreciated the efforts made by Saudi Arabia to support the Palestinian cause and stand firmly against the horrific crimes in Gaza, especially the historic summits hosted by Saudi Arabia in this regard.
