RAMALLAH, February 4, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Tuesday evening conducted multiple raids into several villages, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to security sources.
They said that the occupying forces raided the villages of Deit Nitham, Ajjul, Umm Safa, and Deir As-Sudan. They also barged their way into Turmusayya town and Burqa village.
Meanwhile, a convoy of Israeli army vehicles stormed Qiffin town, north of Tulkarm, simultaneously while opening live gunfire.
There was no immediate information on any casualties and detention cases.
The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
These raids are conducted without a search warrant whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
