Israeli forces continue detention campaign, raids in Tammun and al-Faraa camp

TUBAS, February 4, 2025 (WAFA) – For the third consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces Tuesday evening continued a detention campaign and raids in Tammun town and al-Faraa refugee camp, south of the occupied West Bank city of Tubas, according to the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS) Director Kamal Bani Odeh.

Bani Odeh said that since the morning hours, the occupying forces rounded up 14 Palestinians, including two women, from Tmmun town, and were still holding and interrogating dozens of others.

This came as Israeli army drones carried out seven airstrikes on various areas in the town, but without resulting in any casualty.

Meanwhile, the occupying forces conducted house-to-house raids in al-Faraa refugee camp, forcing out the families, ransacking the houses, and turning them into outposts, at a time when Israeli snipers seized positions on the rooftops of buildings in the camp.

The occupation forces continue to maintain a tight siege on the town and the camp, causing the stock of foodstuff, including bread and infant formula, to run out.

They deliberately ploughed through infrastructure, destroying main water pipelines, leading to a water crisis and causing a power outage in parts of the town and the camp.
