Civil Defense teams continue efforts to rescue woman and her children trapped under rubble in Jenin camp

JENIN, February 4, 2025 (WAFA) - Civil defense teams in Jenin are actively working to rescue a woman and her three children, who remain trapped beneath the rubble of their home in the Jenin refugee camp.

Colonel Abdel Latif Abu Amsha, director of Civil Defense in Jenin, reported that the teams responded immediately after citizens alerted them to cries coming from under the debris.

Upon reaching the scene, they discovered the woman and children alive and immediately began efforts to remove the rubble using hand tools, as heavy machinery could not access the area due to extensive destruction in the camp.

He affirmed that communication was established with the woman, confirming her presence along with her three children, all of whom are alive. He emphasized the urgent need to act with the utmost speed to save their lives.
