TULKARM, February 3, 2025 (WAFA) - Tulkarm Governor Abdullah Kamil stated that "the occupation forces have forced more than 75% of the residents of Tulkarm camp to be forcibly displaced, due to the ongoing aggression for the eighth consecutive day."
Kamil said in a press statement issued today that "Approximately 9,000 citizens of different ages have been displaced from the camp, as the occupation forces forced them to leave and leave the camp, in this unprecedented aggression on the governorate."
He continued: "We prepared the shelter centers through the Dignity and Relief Committee by equipping and preparing them from the competent authorities, and in close cooperation with all the institutions and activities of Tulkarm Governorate, to whom we extend our appreciation and praise for these tremendous efforts."
He noted that some of the residents went to their relatives, and that the committee is providing them with the necessary needs of mattresses, blankets, food, medicines, and other needs.
Israeli occupation forces continued the aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the eighth consecutive day, amidst the deployment of more military vehicles, raiding and vandalizing homes, forcing their residents to flee, and detaining Palestinian young men.
