RAMALLAH, February 1, 2025 (WAFA) - Israel is set to release 183 Palestinian detainees today as part of the fourth batch of detainees to be freed under the Gaza ceasefire agreement. The list includes 111 detainees from the Gaza Strip, all of whom were detained after October 7, 2023.

The Palestinian Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) published the names of the prisoners set to be released. The list includes detainees of various ages and sentences, including eight who will be exiled outside Palestine.

To be noted, hundreds of Gaza detainees remain victims of the crime of enforced disappearance.

The Israeli occupation released the third batch of Palestinian detainees on Thursday. One hundred and ten detainees were released. This cohort comprised 32 detainees serving life sentences, 48 facing various prison terms and 30 minors.
