GAZA, November 24, 2024 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians were killed and others injured today in Israeli airstrikes on the Jabalia and Nuseirat refugee camps in the northern and central Gaza Strip respectively, according to local and medical sources.
In Jabalia refugee camp, a number of people were killed or injured when Israeli military vehicles fired live ammunition at individuals attempting to leave the camp, which has been under a tight siege for over 51 days.
The sources also confirmed that several other civilians were killed and others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the Al-Rahma neighborhood, west of the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Additionally, Israeli aircraft targeted a house in Nuseirat, resulting in the murder of a man who had been attempting to repair the roof of his home to prevent rainwater leakage.
The ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 44,176 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 104,473 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attack continues unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
