PARIS, November 11, 2024 (WAFA) - The French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, announced on Monday that the European Union could soon launch a new round of sanctions against extremist Israeli colonists involved in violent acts in occupied Palestinian Territories.

Speaking at the Paris Peace Forum, Barrot pointed out that both national and European sanctions have already been applied to those involved in violence.

Barrot also noted that the EU’s sanctions regime, which has been activated twice before, could soon be activated for a third time.
