AMMAN, November 7, 2024 (WAFA) – Jordan King Abdullah II Thursday renewed his call for stepping up the humanitarian response in the war-torn Gaza Strip, according to the Jordan Times website.

Quoting a Royal Court statement, the website reported that in a phone call with Slovenia Prime Minister Robert Golob, King Abdullah II renewed his call for stepping up the humanitarian response in Gaza and ensuring that aid reaches all areas in the Strip.

It also reported that Abdullah II stressed that stopping the Israeli war on Gaza and Lebanon was the first step in restoring calm and de-escalation in the region.
