RAMALLAH, October, 17, 2024 (WAFA) – Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova confirmed that the practices of the Israeli occupation authorities in the Gaza Strip are contrary to international humanitarian law and are immoral.
At a press conference in Moscow, she described the scenes that spread after the occupation bombed the tents of the displaced persons in the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip as horrific and shocking.
She pointed out that the Americans brought "madness" to the region, expressing her condolences to the families of the Palestinians who were killed in this attack, and wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded.
Zakharova stressed the need to stop the attacks on Gaza, stressing that violence against civilians, indiscriminate attacks on crowded places and civilian targets cannot be justified.
She said, "The practices of the Israeli army of this kind are contrary to international humanitarian law and immoral, and the suffering of the people of Gaza can only be ended by stopping military operations."
