RAMALLAH, September, 28, 2024 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan signed a joint declaration on establishing diplomatic relations between the State of Palestine and the Republic of Armenia.
Mustafa praised the Republic of Armenia's recognition of the State of Palestine, considering it a a practical step to support the two-state solution on the path to ending the Israeli occupation and embodying the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
Mustafa praised the depth of historical and fraternal relations between the Armenian and Palestinian people, also thanking Armenia's positive vote in favor of the resolutions related to Palestine, stressing that establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries comes in order to strengthen bilateral relations at all levels.
At the end of his meetings, the Prime Minister met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Morocco, Nasser Bourita, where he discussed with them the coordination of joint positions and the mobilization of efforts regarding the Palestinian movement in international forums in order to stop the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
