RAMALLAH, September, 23, 2024 (WAFA) – The Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Germany Laith Araf has met with Ali, a child who was pursued by the German police a few days ago while he was participating in a solidarity event with Palestine in Berlin.
Ali, 10, said that all he wants is for the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation against the children of Palestine to stop, and for him to return to the city of Safad, from which his family was displaced in the 1948 Nakba, and for the occupation to end.
Arafa pointed out that Ali embodies the aspirations of the children of Palestine, who prove every day the failure of the Israeli bet that "children will forget Palestine," and the atrocities committed by the occupation that continue generation after generation against the Palestinian people, the latest of which is the ongoing aggression in the Gaza Strip.
Ali and his family were received, in addition to the ambassador, by the Secretary of the Region, Mu'anis Al-Abyad, and Counselor Iyad Al-Zeer.
