GAZA, Saturday, July 27, 2024 (WAFA) - Early this morning, an Israeli airstrike targeted the northern area of Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of five civilians and injuring several others.
Local sources reported that Israeli fighterjets struck a residential home belonging to the Al-Masri family in the Misbah area, north of Rafah. The attack led to the immediate murder of five individuals and left dozens injured.
Emergency services and medical teams are currently working at the site of the strike, providing aid to the injured and assessing the full extent of the damage.
Israel has been waging a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting so far in the killing of 39,175 individuals, the majority of whom are women and children. Additionally, 90,403 people have been injured, according to preliminary figures.
Thousands remain trapped under debris and in the streets, with rescue and medical teams unable to reach many of the victims.
