JERUSALEM, Thursday, July 25, 2024 (WAFA) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for the Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) affirmed today that Gaza's hospitals are stretched way beyond their capacity after nearly 10 months of relentless Israeli aggression.

"Frequent evacuation orders and relentless hostilities continue to further devastate Gaza’s health system," said the UN agency in a post on X. 

It added, "People can't access essential healthcare services, particularly ones suffering from chronic diseases."

UNRWA pointed out that people in the war-ridden enclave are exhausted by the continuous displacement. "They leave almost everything behind, carrying what they can in their hands."

"Families with young children are forced to run through dangerous areas, amid bombardments and military operations, with nowhere safe to go."
