TULKARM, Thursday , July 25, 2024 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces today closed the southern entrance of the city of Tulkarm, north of the occupied West Bank, using earth mounds, local sources reported.

According to the sources, Israeli military bulldozers blocked with earth mounds the southern gateway to the city, which connects the Tulkarm and Qalqilya governorates.

Earlier today, Israeli forces had erected a checkpoint along the same route, redirecting vehicles as part of their collective punishment policy imposed on the Palestinian population.

The closure of this vital entrance point is expected to severely impact the daily lives and movement of Palestinians in the region.
