RAMALLAH, Thursday, November 25, 2021 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) has released a statement on the Construction Cost Index (CCI), Road Cost Index (RCI), Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) and Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank during the month of October 2021.
According to the statement, the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings in the West Bank reached 114.71 with an increase of 0.44% during October 2021 compared with September 2021.
At the level of major groups, the prices of rental of equipment increased by 0.79% and raw material increased by 0.69%. At the same time, labour costs and wages remained stable during October 2021 compared with the previous month.
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for non-residential buildings in the West Bank reached 114.15 with an increase of 0.42% during October 2021 compared with September 2021 .
At the level of major groups, the prices of rental of equipment increased by 0.67% and raw material increased by 0.65%. At the same time, labour costs and wages remained stable during October 2021 compared with the previous month.
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for skeleton buildings in the West Bank reached 114.94 with an increase of 0.43% during October 2021 compared with September 2021.
At the level of major groups, the prices of rental of equipment increased by 0.78% and raw material increased by 0.63%. At the same time, labour costs and wages remained stable during October 2021 compared with the previous month.
The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) in the West Bank reached 109.60 with an increase of 0.40% during October 2021 compared with September 2021.
At the level of major groups, the price of operating cost of equipment increased by 0.92%, rental of equipment increased by 0.86%, and raw material increased by 0.33%. At the same time, labour costs and wages remained stable during October 2021 compared with the previous month.
The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) reached 124.14 with an increase of 0.37% in the West Bank during October 2021 compared with September 2021.
Water reservoirs cost reached 117.73 with an increase of 1.13% during October 2021 compared with September 2021, and Water Networks Cost Index reached 127.04 with a slight increase of 0.06%.
The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank reached 110.74 with an increase of 0.11% during October 2021 compared with September 2021.
