RAMALLAH,
Wednesday, August 25, 2021 (WAFA) – According to a report by the Palestinian
Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for
residential buildings reached 113.59 with an increase of 0.50% in the West Bank
during July 2021 compared with June 2021 (base year 2013=100).
At
the level of major groups, the prices of raw materials increased by 0.82%, and
rental of equipment increased by 0.28%. At the same time, labour
costs and wages remained stable during July 2021 compared with the previous
month.
The
Construction Cost Index (CCI) for non-residential buildings reached 113.11 with
an increase of 0.48% in the West Bank during July 2021 compared with June 2021
(Base year 2013=100).
At
the level of major groups, the prices of raw materials increased by 0.77%, and
rental of equipment increased by 0.21%. At the same time, labour
costs and wages remained stable during July 2021 compared with the previous
month.
The
Construction Cost Index (CCI) for skeleton buildings reached 114.56 with an
increase of 0.20% in the West Bank during July 2021 compared with June 2021
(Base year 2013=100).
At
the level of major groups, the prices of raw materials increased by 0.29%, and
rental of equipment increased by 0.27%. At the same time, labour
costs and wages remained stable during July 2021 compared with the previous
month.
The
overall Road Cost Index (RCI) reached 108.92 with a decrease of 0.15% in the
West Bank during July 2021 compared with June 2021 (Base month December
2008=100).
At
the level of major groups, the price of raw materials decreased by 0.26%, and
rental of equipment slightly decreased by 0.09%. At the same time, operating
costs of equipment and maintenance group and labour
costs and wages group remained stable during July 2021 compared with the
previous month.
The
overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) reached 122.87 with a slightly
increase of 0.03% in the West Bank during July 2021 compared with June 2021
(Base month January 2010=100).
Water
Networks Cost Index reached 125.43 with an increase of 0.45%. while Reservoirs
Cost reached 117.27 with a decrease of 0.96% during July 2021 compared with
June 2021 (Base year 2013=100).
The
overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) reached 110.25 with an increase of
0.13% in the West Bank during July 2021 compared with June 2021 (Base
month January 2010=100).
