RAMALLAH, August 1, 2012 (WAFA) – Diplomatic relations between Palestine and Thailand were officially launched on Wednesday, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It said the official launch of diplomatic relations followed Thailand’s earlier recognition of the Palestinian state.
Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki and his Thai counterpart Kantathi Suphamongkhon have jointly announced on July 11 in Bangkok Thailand’s recognition of Palestine and establishment of diplomatic relations.
