RAMALLAH, June 21, 2012 (WAFA) – The three Palestinian Arabic dailies highlighted in their Thursday issue reports on victims of the Israeli airstrikes following four days of attacks targeting several areas across the Gaza Strip.
Al-Hayat al-Jadida reported on one Palestinian and a child who were killed in an Israeli airstrike which targeted an agricultural land east of Gaza.
It said that nine was the total number of Palestinians who were killed during Israeli attacks on Gaza since Monday.
Al-Ayyam printed a photo of children in Gaza watching the funeral of 2-year-old Hadeel Hadad who was killed in a failed rocket launch.
Al-Ayyam and al-Hayat al-Jadida reported on the tragedy of three children from the village of Ras Karkar west of Ramallah who were found dead in an old refrigerator.
Al-Quds focused on the Egyptian presidential elections results and postponing results due to over 400 appeals.
Al-Hayat al-Jadida highlighted Israeli President Shimon Peres saying “The principle of the two-state solution is of paramount Israeli interest. We want to preserve an Israel that is Jewish, democratic, and attractive at the same time.”
