RAFAH, June 20, 2012 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was killed Wednesday and another was injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a motorcycle in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, said witnesses and medical sources.

Witnesses said an Israeli warplane hit the motorcycle with at least one missile, killing a Palestinian on the spot and injuring another who was transferred to the hospital for treatment. This brings the death toll to seven Palestinians since the beginning of the Israeli airstrikes on Friday.

A 14-year old was injured from shrapnel earlier Wednesday in artillery shelling targeting east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

Palestinians retaliated with a number of missiles fired at towns in southern Israel causing several cases of injuries.
