JERUSALEM, April 23, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers Monday assaulted a Palestinian family in the village of Qalandia, northwest of Jerusalem, during attempts to confiscate its property, said witnesses.
They said that clashes erupted between the family and soldiers when they tried to force the family members out of their homes and confiscate an adjacent garden.
Israeli authorities earlier announced a plan to take over 400 dunums of land to build and expand the Apartheid Wall in order to separate Qalandia from Ramallah and Jerusalem and build parks.
