Colonists set fire to vehicle, attack Palestinian residents’ homes south of Nablus

 

NABLUS, April 17, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists set fire to the front part of a vehicle and attacked Palestinian citizens’ homes on Friday evening in the village of 'Asira al Qibliya, south of Nablus, according to a local official.

Head of 'Asira al Qibliya village council, Hafez Saleh, said that colonists attacked the southern area of the village and set fire to a vehicle owned by one of the residents, damaging its front section. Colonists also attempted to set fire to a warehouse and equipment belonging to another resident.

Colonists further attacked several homes in the same area, located near a colonial pastoral outpost established on land classified as Area B, as well as a water reservoir supplying the village, obstructing access to it and preventing maintenance work.
